Resolution from the Women’s International Network (WIN)

Whereas AMARC is committed to women's equality in all its activities, we the members of WIN (which includes WIN members from all the regions) would like to see this commitment reflected within AMARC's structure.

WIN Resolution 1

We, members of Women's International Network (WIN), hereby resolve that WIN-Vice President is included within the Executive Committee at the International level, as well as, each of the Regional levels, so that gender is mainstreamed in all aspects of decision-making within AMARC. We understand that this will require a Constitutional Amendment, but we suggest that the AMARC International Board make an interim arrangement on a voluntarybasis.

WIN Resolution 2

We, members of Women's International Network (WIN), hereby resolve that AMARC ensures to identify a WIN Coordinator to support the WIN Representative at the International Secretariat, as well as, at each of the regional secretariats.

WIN Resolution 3

We, members of Women's International Network (WIN), hereby resolve to constitute a Women's Fund which is made available to support WIN at International and Regional Secretariats.

WIN Resolution 4

We, members of Women's International Network (WIN), hereby resolve that AMARC must provide financial support to bring at least 50% women in all its gatherings, meetings, conferences, workshops, etc., to ensure equal participation of women in all its activities. Lack of funds cannot be a reason for not being able to support equal women's participation. This should be applicable to AMARC International as well as each of the AMARC regions. There should be a mechanism to ensure that in each country or regional delegation, there is equal number of women and men, irrespective of wether they are self-funded, funded by other donors, or supported by AMARC.
